Kara’s portfolio expands nearly two decades in the financial industry as a leader and producer. After her own experiences with the frustration with the lack of communication in a healthcare setting, she set out to create a solution. She founded Dub Diversified, LLC, now OhanaLink Technologies, where she created the concept and design for her first mobile solution, OhanaLink Baby™—a smartphone app to help expectant mothers stay connected. She continues to launch new products in the market, including; OhanaLink, Direct Connect as well as other apps designed to support social service agencies. She built the business from idea, to prototype, to the launch of the company’s unique communication and support platform. Kara left her full-time corporate role to become a relentless entrepreneur pursuing her vision—which has been to take a product from concept to market. Kara completed a master’s degree in Leadership and Professional Development from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Kara resides in Hermitage, Pennsylvania with her husband and two children.
